I stayed at this hotel for several days. Overall, the impression is good. Great location, excellent view from the room, large beautiful rooms, delicious breakfasts. As for the downsides: unfortunately, there are complaints about the cleanliness. My bedding smelled like someone else's perfume. Also, I noticed that the bedding wasn't changed in my room, even though I constantly requested housekeeping. Additionally, I found a towel with a hole in the bathroom.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay and couldn't fault the hotel. The rooms are spacious and decorated beautifully. The location was perfect for using public transport and had lots of restaurants/bars within a short walking distance. We didn't have breakfast included, but it looked delicious from what we could see. Hotel was clean in all areas and all staff were very friendly. We had to switch rooms during our stay as we kept hearing a constant drilling noise, but the staff were super helpful and allowed us to swap rooms despite being fully booked. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking to explore Berlin and access the public transport links.

Very friendly staff (mr. Sauli at the reception desk!), most delicious breakfast we had ever taken before with very helpful and kind staff, very nice cleaning staff! Large and very clean rooms. Highly recommended and located just next to museum island. We come back for sure! Dit is een zeer goed hotel; vriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijt, mooie ruime kamers, grote lift, (gratis snoepjes :)),... Het is er fantastisch. Er is in de wijde omstreek geen beter hotel!

Location is excellent - you can reach all the museums in under 5-6 minutes! However: A poster in your elevator tells us: ‘The Classik Hotel Collection stands for innovation, individuality and sustainability’. We do not agree with neither of these terms. In the shower, there are 2 shower heads. One is handheld, the other one is a head with a wall arm. The wall-arm shower heard is totally broken. The water is overflowing the shower head, it basically looks like a frontyard sprinkler. The soap dispensers doesn’t function properly. Neither the one at the sink, nor the one under the shower. We told the receptionist but he said, cheerfully (opening the cabinet behind him): ‘we’ve got spare ones here, would you like take one with you?’. We're paying 150 EUR/night; therefore we will *not* be picking up any new soap dispensers ourselves. You need to show me how ‘innovative’ you are. Please get all your staff members a tablet (in particular, the cleaning team). If a customer informs the reception desk there are issues with the soap dispensers, all you need to do is submit the following request: ‘room number’ + ‘what is broken’ to the cleaning team. Also, the room is dark. There are no overhead lights, just one lamp which does not work (or it does, but its ON/OFF switch is somewhere under the sofa? We cannot move the sofa, it’s too heavy!!), and another lamp around the bed area. But its light goes straight up, it’s the most impractical lamp design we have ever seen. This lamp just illuminates the wall, but its lightbulb is so dim that no light is actually reflected back onto the guests/the table area. Therefore - we kept the hallway light on the entire time (!!!) and the bathroom door open + the light in the bathroom ON (!!!). How sustainable is that? This is certainly not sustainable. We need either some sort of ceiling light, or better lightbulbs, or more lamps! There was also a magnifying mirror with the max magnification of 7x. Its axis is broken - hence the mirror remains stable in a horizontal position. As a result, you have to use your hand in order to hold it in a vertical position - only then can you see yourself. As a consequence, that mirror is impossible to use. Please tighten the screws on both ends of the axis. When we arrived at the hotel (day 1), we were offered some candy and a lukewarm sparkling wine. By the looks of the bottle, there was maybe 100ml of liquid there… and it’s been sitting there on ice the entire day (at room temperature!) Only the bottom of the bottle was submerged in ice. No, we are very unlikely to drink alcohol / sparking wine upon our arrival. When we declined, the concierge said: ‘but you can take it with you.’ No, we are not going to take what looks like lukewarm wine with us to the room. In the end, there was no goodbye or anything nice/personal. Also: The cleaning service rang the bell TWICE around 1020 and 1030!!! This is absurd. Why?! Then around 1045 the receptionist calls and tells us we need to vacate the room at 1100. This is so rude! Just give us time until 1200!!! Overall, we did not feel like individuals here. We felt like someone who pays 150 EUR/night and just gets a broken room & additional stress because of the bizarre 11-hour check-out rule. In the past, it used to be a cool (boutique?) hotel. Not anymore. In summary: your hotel is neither innovative, nor sustainable, nor individual, despite its excellent locatin.

I have chosen Classik Hotel Alexander Plaza for many reasons. I wanted a young and stylish hotel with a new concept that combines the vintage and the modern mood in the centre of Berlino. I am so glad I found it! The furniture and the colors are amazing, the staff is young and friendly, besides being so helpful and supportative. A part from the rich breakfast in the morning served in a very special area with a huge skylight, we also enjoyed the SPA with a wonderful sauna, the hammam and a relax area. Wonderful!
